The president should hold a meeting of the Supreme Housing Council
Referring to the slowness of the implementation process of the National Housing Movement, the head of the Construction Commission of the Islamic Parliament said: One of the reasons for the slowness of the housing construction process is the non-payment of facilities by the banks. Currently, the central bank does not allow the banks to pay the facilities, and somehow the banks were locked by the central bank.
Mohammad Reza Rezaei Kouchi, speaking this matter to the reporter of "Agah" newspaper, pointed to the criticism of the non-payment of facilities by the banks and said: some of the housing construction projects have made some physical progress, but due to the non-payment of facilities, the construction process has been stopped or slowed down. This does not mean a change in government policies in the field of housing. Banks did not act according to their legal duties and the Ministry of Economy should fine them and collect taxes based on the law. But unfortunately, this did not happen. He added: "The government has not yet mastered the issue of housing, and the meeting of the Supreme Housing Council has not been held yet." Therefore, the government's policy in the field of housing is not clear and clear. I request the president to hold a meeting as soon as possible and present his views on this important issue.
This representative of the people in the parliament said: "Unfortunately, in the last month, we found out that some government bodies are against the payment of housing facilities, and this approach will affect the process of building houses in the future."
The chairman of the civil commission of the parliament continued: We invited the road minister to the commission to present our policies regarding housing and reach a suitable conclusion from his and the government team's point of view. The implementation of the national housing movement plan and the construction of one million residential units per year is essential and is the responsibility of the government, and it must pay attention to it.
